TRADITIONAL ROASTING OVER WOOD FIRE

The three lines of the MariaSole brand - MariaSole Caffè Espresso, MariaSole Bio Caffè Espresso and MariaSole Caffè Crema - are roasted in Sicily/Italy in the traditional drum roasting process over wood fire. Gently and by hand as hundreds of years ago. The long roasting time of 15 to 25 minutes makes our MariaSole Caffès particularly mild and creamy.

This centuries-old knowledge, mature craftsmanship and the careful selection of high-quality Arabica and a smaller proportion of Robusta beans give these roasted coffees their perfectly harmonious character and their fascinating aromatic diversity.

The exclusively composed bean varieties are elaborately roasted individually depending on the bean type. This gives the beans just the right degree of roasting: they are not shocked and release their valuable aromas and essential oils. The beans then rest separately for three to five days - and only then are they blended in their special ratios depending on the line.
